A little about my journey
Graduated in Fashion Design from UFMG, I discovered my true passion for the audiovisual field when I was invited to work on my first project as a Costume Designer. It was then that I understood the power of cinema as a collective creation — the result of many hands, perspectives, and sensibilities coming together.
Since childhood, I have been driven by curiosity about the “how” and the “why.” On set, I found the space where this curiosity takes shape: observing processes, understanding creative choices, and actively participating in the construction of visual narratives. There, I felt part of something greater — a collaborative and transformative artistic practice.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to the craft within the Art Department, continuously refining both technical and creative skills.
As a Production Designer, I lead the Art Department, developing the visual concept of a project — from sets to costumes, from makeup to practical effects. In close collaboration with the Director and especially the Director of Photography, I define the mood, color palette, and overall aesthetic of the work. My communication skills and problem-solving abilities support a collaborative and strategic leadership style.
As an Art Director, I focus more directly on the conception and execution of sets, props, and set decoration, playing a key role in location selection. Strong alignment with costume and makeup departments is essential to ensure aesthetic unity and narrative coherence.
As a Costume Designer, I concentrate on creating costumes that dialogue with the project’s universe and contribute to the symbolic and dramatic construction of characters, always respecting the overall artistic concept of the Art Department.
